परिधाविनि मध्यदेशनाशो नृपहानिर्जलं अल्पं अग्निकोपः । अलसस्तु जनः प्रमादिसंज्ञे डमरं रक्तकपुष्पबीजनाशः ॥ ८-४६ ॥
In the year Paridhāvi the Madhyadeśa will suffer and the ruling princes will perish, there will be slight rain and fear from fire; in the year Pramādi mankind will be disposed to be inactive; villagers will be at strife; red flowers and red seed will be destroyed.
english translation
विक्रमः सकललोकनन्दनो राक्षसः क्षयकरो अनलस्तथा । ग्रीष्मधान्यजननो अत्र राक्षसो वह्निकोपमरकप्रदो अनलः ॥ ८-४७ ॥
In the next year mankind will be happy. In the years Rākṣasa and Anala there will be deaths and decay in the land; in Rākṣasa again the summer crops will thrive and in Anala there will be fear from fire and much suffering in the land.

एकादशे पिङ्गलकालयुक्तसिद्धार्थरौद्राः खलु दुर्मतिश्च । आद्ये तु व्षृटिर्महती सचौरा श्वासो हनूकम्पयुतश्च कासः ॥ ८-४८ ॥
The five years of the eleventh yuga are—1. Piṅgala, 2. Kālayukta, 3. Siddhārtha, 4. Raudra, 5. Durmati. In the first year there will be much rain and fear from thieves and mankind will suffer from consumption of the lungs and the like asthmatic complaints.

यत्कालयुक्तं तदनेकदोषं सिद्धार्थसंज्ञे बहवो गुणाश्च । रौद्रो अतिरौद्रः क्षयकृत्प्रदिष्टो यो दुर्मतिर्मध्यमवृष्टिकृत्सः ॥ ८-४९ ॥
In the year Kālayukta mankind will suffer from various evils; but in Siddhārtha they will be happy in more ways than one. In the year Raudra mankind will suffer much and there will be loss and ruin in the land. In Durmati there will be moderate rain.

भाग्ये युगे दुन्दुभिसंज्ञं आद्यं सस्यस्य वृद्धिं महतीं करोति । अङ्गारसंज्ञं तदनु क्षयाय नरेश्वराणां विषमा च वृष्टिः ॥ ८-५० ॥
In the twelveth yuga sacred to god Bhāga (Sun), the first year is known as Dundubhi; the crops will thrive well. The next year is known as Udgāri; in it the ruling sovereigns will perish and there will not be good rain.
