Beginning from unity form several series of numbers by adding together each figure with the next and the sum with the next and so on omitting only the last, the last of the senes will represent the number of combinations required.
Agam, Pattra, Turuṣka and Śaileya shall be mixed in two, three, five and eight parts and Priyaṅgu, Musta, Rasa and Keśa shall be mixed in five, eight, two, and three parts.
Spṛkka, Cinnamon, Tagara and Māṃsī shall be mixed in four, one, seven and six parts; and Sandal, Nakha, Śrīka and Kunduruka shall be mixed in seven, six, four and one parts.
