साजमोदलवणा हरीतकी शृङ्गवेरसहिता च पिप्पली । मद्यतक्रतरलौष्णवारिभिश्चूर्णपानं उदराग्निदीपनम् ॥ ७६-११ ॥
Mix together equal quantities of the powder of Ajamoda (sison), rock-salt, Harītakī, ginger and long pepper, and put the mixture either in liquor or in butter-milk or water, slightly heated and drink it. You will begin to have a keen appetite for food.
