Brihat Samhita
सत्त्वं अहीनं सूर्यात्शारीरं मानसं च चन्द्रबलात् । यद्राशिभेदयुक्तावेतौ तल्लक्षणः स पुमान् ॥ ६९-०३ ॥
Sattva is devoid of the sun, and the body and mind are devoid of the moon. The characteristic of these two signs is that they are distinct from each other.
