वैडूर्यत्विट्स्थूलकण्ठस्त्रिकोणो गूढच्छिद्रश्चऊरु वंशश्च शस्तः । क्रीडावाप्यां तोयपूर्णे मणौ वा कार्यः कूर्मो मङ्गलार्थं नरेन्द्रैः ॥ ६४-०३ ॥
The turtle (kūrma) of the colour of Vaidūrya, whose neck is large, whose body is smooth and of triangular shape, and whose backbone is beautiful, is of excellent kind. It shall be put in pleasure tanks and water pots by kings for the increase of their prosperity.
