प्राजापत्ये श्रवणे मूले त्रिषु चौत्तरेषु शाक्रे च । विचरन्घननिवहानां उपघातकरः क्षमातनयः ॥ ६-११ ॥
If Mars should pass through the constellations of Rohiṇī, Śravaṇa, Mūla, Uttara Phālguni, Uttarāṣādha, Uttarabhādrapada and Jyeṣṭhā, he will destroy clouds charged with rain.
english translation
prAjApatye zravaNe mUle triSu cauttareSu zAkre ca । vicaranghananivahAnAM upaghAtakaraH kSamAtanayaH ॥ 6-11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptचारौदयाः प्रशस्ताः श्रवणमघाआदित्य हस्तमूलेषु। एकपदाअश्विविशाखाप्राजापत्येषु च कुजस्य ॥ ६-१२ ॥
If Mars should pass through the constellations of Śravaṇa, Maghā, Punarvasu, Hasta, Mūla, Pūrvabhādrapada, Aśvini, Viśākhā and Rohiṇī, there will be prosperity in the land.
english translation
cAraudayAH prazastAH zravaNamaghAAditya hastamUleSu। ekapadAazvivizAkhAprAjApatyeSu ca kujasya ॥ 6-12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविपुलविमलमूर्तिः किंशुकाशोकवर्णः स्फुटरुचिरमयूखस्तप्तताम्रप्रभाआभः । विचरति यदि मार्गं चौत्तरं मेदिनीजः शुभकृदवनिपानां हार्दिदश्च प्रजानाम् ॥ ६-१३ ॥
If Mars should appear with a large and clear disc or red like the flower of Kiṃśuka (Butea Frondosa) or of Aśoka (Jonesia Aśoka Roxb) or of clear and fine rays or like molten gold or if he should pass through the northern path, rulers will be happy and there will be prosperity in the land.
