अष्टौ तु जानुमध्ये वैपुल्यं त्र्यष्टकं तु परिणाहः । विपुलौ चतुर्दशऊरू मध्ये द्विगुणश्च तत्परिधिः ॥ ५८-२२ ॥
The knee shall be 8 digits broad at the middle; the knee when measured around at the middle shall be 24 digits. The breadth of the thigh at the middle shall be 14 digits; the same when measured around at the middle shall be 28 digits.
