अङ्गुष्ठनखः कथितस्चतुर्थभागऊनं अङ्गुलं तज्ज्ञैः । शेषनखानां अर्धाङ्गुलं क्रमात्किंचिदूनं वा ॥ ५८-२० ॥
The learned say that the nail of the big toe shall be three-fourths of a digit broad and that the toe-nails shall each be half a digit or less.
