हीनातिरिक्तकाले फलं उक्तं पूर्वशास्त्रदृष्टत्वात् । स्फुटगणितविदः कालः कथञ् चिदपि नान्यथा भवति ॥ ५-२५ ॥

I have described, as above, the effects of the occurrence of eclipses either before or after the calculated times in accordance with the ancient śāstras; but the calculation of a really learned Astronomer will at no time fail.

english translation

hInAtiriktakAle phalaM uktaM pUrvazAstradRSTatvAt । sphuTagaNitavidaH kAlaH kathaJ cidapi nAnyathA bhavati ॥ 5-25 ॥
