शुभमध्ये अलिनि सूर्याद्गुरुशशिनोः सप्तमे परा सम्पत् । अल्यादिस्थे सवितरि गुरौ द्वितीये अर्धनिष्पत्तिः ॥ ४०-०५ ॥

If, when the Sun is in Scorpio, and between benefic planets, Jupiter and the Moon should be in the seventh house, Taurus, summer crops will thrive exceedingly well; and if, when he has just entered Scorpio, Jupiter should be in the second house, Sagittarius, the extent of the growth of such crops will be one-half.

english translation

zubhamadhye alini sUryAdguruzazinoH saptame parA sampat । alyAdisthe savitari gurau dvitIye ardhaniSpattiH ॥ 40-05 ॥
