त्रिषु मेषऽदिषु सूर्यः सौम्ययुतो वीक्षितो अपि वा विचरन् । ग्रैष्मिक धान्यं कुरुते समर्घम् अभयौपयोग्यं च ॥ ४०-१३ ॥

If while the Sun passes through the signs of Aries, Taurus, and Gemini, he should be accompanied by or within sight of benefíc planets, the summer crops will flourish and the price of such produce will either be moderate or will rise.

english translation

triSu meSa'diSu sUryaH saumyayuto vIkSito api vA vicaran । graiSmika dhAnyaM kurute samargham abhayaupayogyaM ca ॥ 40-13 ॥
