रजनीद्वयं विसर्पति यस्मिन्राष्ट्रे रजोघनं बहुलम् । परचक्रस्य आगमनं तस्मिन्नपि सन्निबोद्धव्यम् ॥ ३८-०६ ॥
If in a particular country the storm should be found to remain for two days together, that country will be overrun by the army of the enemy.
english translation
rajanIdvayaM visarpati yasminrASTre rajoghanaM bahulam । paracakrasya AgamanaM tasminnapi sanniboddhavyam ॥ 38-06 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिपतति रजनीत्रितयं चतुष्कं अप्यन्नरसविनाशाय । राज्ञां सैन्यक्षोभो रजसि भवेत्पञ्चरात्रभवे ॥ ३८-०७ ॥
If the dust-storm should be found to continue for three or four days, there will be scarcity in the land, and juice will be injured; if it should continue for five days, contending armies will engage in fight.
english translation
nipatati rajanItritayaM catuSkaM apyannarasavinAzAya । rAjJAM sainyakSobho rajasi bhavetpaJcarAtrabhave ॥ 38-07 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकेत्वाद्युदयविमुक्तं यदा रजो भवति तीव्रभयदायि । शिशिरादन्यत्रर्तौ फलं अविकलं आहु आचार्याः ॥ ३८-०८ ॥
If a malefic dust-storm unaccompanied by the appearance of comets and the like abnormal phenomena should be seen in any Ṛtus (season) except Śiśira (from the middle of January to that of March), it will produce the full effects assigned to it.

ketvAdyudayavimuktaM yadA rajo bhavati tIvrabhayadAyi । zizirAdanyatrartau phalaM avikalaM Ahu AcAryAH ॥ 38-08 ॥
