यस्याश्चिरं तिष्ठति खे अनुषङ्गो दण्डाकृतिः सा नृपतेर्भयाय । या चौह्यते तन्तुधृताइव खस्था या वा महेन्द्रध्वजतुल्यरूपा ॥ ३३-२४ ॥

If the meteoric appearance should be seen to hover in the sky for a long time, of the shape of a stick, or if it should be seen of the shape of Indra’s banner suspended in the sky as if by threads, rulers will suffer.

english translation

yasyAzciraM tiSThati khe anuSaGgo daNDAkRtiH sA nRpaterbhayAya । yA cauhyate tantudhRtAiva khasthA yA vA mahendradhvajatulyarUpA ॥ 33-24 ॥
