मन्युं हरैन्द्र धात्र्याः क्षिप कुलिशं शैलपक्षभङ्गाय । शक्रः कृतं इत्युक्त्वा मा भैरिति वसुमतीं आह ॥ ३२-०६ ॥

sanskrit

“O Indra, relieve the Earth of her grief; throw your weapon—the Vajrāyuddha, to destroy the wings of mountains.” Indra saying, “It is done,” told the Earth not to fear and spoke to her as follows.

english translation

manyuM haraindra dhAtryAH kSipa kulizaM zailapakSabhaGgAya । zakraH kRtaM ityuktvA mA bhairiti vasumatIM Aha ॥ 32-06 ॥
