सितसितान्तघनऽवरणं रवेर् भवति वृष्टिकरं यदि सव्यतः । यदि च वीरणगुल्मनिभैर्घनैर् दिवसभर्तुरदीप्तदिगुद्भवैः ॥ ३०-२४ ॥

If white, thick clouds should come forth from the south and conceal the Sun, there will be rain; if clouds bush-like in shape and rising in quarters other than that in the direction of the Sun and conceal the Sun, there will also be rain.

english translation

sitasitAntaghana'varaNaM raver bhavati vRSTikaraM yadi savyataH । yadi ca vIraNagulmanibhairghanair divasabharturadIptadigudbhavaiH ॥ 30-24 ॥
