ग्रीष्मे रक्तो भयकृद्वर्षास्वसितः करोत्यनावृष्टिम् । हेमन्ते पीतो अर्कः करोति न चिरेण रोगभयम् ॥ ३-२६ ॥
If, in Grīṣma, the sun be of blood colour mankind will be afflicted with various fears; If, in Varṣā, he be black there will be drought on the Earth; If, in Hemanta he be yellow there will be immediate fear from disease.
english translation
grISme rakto bhayakRdvarSAsvasitaH karotyanAvRSTim । hemante pIto arkaH karoti na cireNa rogabhayam ॥ 3-26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुरचापपाटिततनुर्नृपतिविरोधप्रदः सहस्रांशुः । प्रावृट्काले सद्यः करोति विमलद्युतिर्वृष्टिम् ॥ ३-२७ ॥
If the solar disc should be crossed by the rainbow the princes of the land will be at war with one another. If in winter the disc be clear there will be immediate rain.

suracApapATitatanurnRpativirodhapradaH sahasrAMzuH । prAvRTkAle sadyaH karoti vimaladyutirvRSTim ॥ 3-27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवर्षाकाले वृष्टिं करोति सद्यः शिरीषपुष्पऽभः । शिखिपत्रनिभः सलिलं न करोति द्वादशाब्दानि ॥ ३-२८ ॥
If in Varṣā the colour of the sun be that of the flower Śirīṣa (Mimosa flexuosa) there will be immediate rain; if the colour be that of the peacock’s plume there will be no rain for twelve years to come.
english translation
varSAkAle vRSTiM karoti sadyaH zirISapuSpa'bhaH । zikhipatranibhaH salilaM na karoti dvAdazAbdAni ॥ 3-28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptश्यामे अर्के कीटभयं भस्मनिभे भयं उशन्ति परचक्रात् । यस्यऋक्षे सच्छिद्रस्तस्य विनाशः क्षितीशस्य ॥ ३-२९ ॥
If, then the sun be black there will be fear from worms and reptiles; if it be ashy pale there will be fear from foreign princes; if the sun should appear with a hole that prince will perish in the star of whose nativity the sun then happens to be.

zyAme arke kITabhayaM bhasmanibhe bhayaM uzanti paracakrAt । yasyaRkSe sacchidrastasya vinAzaH kSitIzasya ॥ 3-29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशशरुधिरनिभे भानौ नभस्तलस्थे भवन्ति सङ्ग्रामाः । शशिसदृशे नृपतिबधः क्षिप्रं चान्यो नृपो भवति ॥ ३-३० ॥
If at other times than rising or setting the sun be of the colour of the blood of a hare there will be war in the land; if he should appear like the moon, the reigning prince will be killed and a foreign prince will succeed immediately.

zazarudhiranibhe bhAnau nabhastalasthe bhavanti saGgrAmAH । zazisadRze nRpatibadhaH kSipraM cAnyo nRpo bhavati ॥ 3-30 ॥
