पर्यन्तेषु सुधाशशाङ्कधवला मध्ये अञ्जनालित्विषः स्निग्धा नैकपुटाः क्षरज्जलकणाः सोपानविच्छेदिनः । माहेन्द्रीप्रभवाः प्रयान्त्यपरतः प्राग्वा अम्बुपऽशाउद्भवा ये ते वारिमुचस्त्यजन्ति न चिरादम्भः प्रभूतं भुवि ॥ २८-१५ ॥

When clouds are white at the edges like nectar or the moon, dark in the middle like collyrium, smooth, formed in many layers, dripping drops of water in broken, step-like streams; whether born of the Mahendra quarter or arising from the east or the region of Varuṇasuch rain-bearing clouds pour forth abundant water upon the earth without much delay.

english translation

paryanteSu sudhAzazAGkadhavalA madhye aJjanAlitviSaH snigdhA naikapuTAH kSarajjalakaNAH sopAnavicchedinaH । mAhendrIprabhavAH prayAntyaparataH prAgvA ambupa'zAudbhavA ye te vArimucastyajanti na cirAdambhaH prabhUtaM bhuvi ॥ 28-15 ॥
