उदितं यदि शीतदीधितिं प्रथमं पृष्ठत एति रोहिणी । शुभं एव तदा स्मरातुराः प्रमदाः कामवशेन संस्थिताः ॥ २४-३१ ॥
If on the night of the Rohiṇī Yoga day the Moon should rise first and the group immediately next after it, there will be happiness in the land and women will become amorous and subject to the influence of men.
english translation
uditaM yadi zItadIdhitiM prathamaM pRSThata eti rohiNI । zubhaM eva tadA smarAturAH pramadAH kAmavazena saMsthitAH ॥ 24-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअनुगच्छति पृष्टतः शशी यदि कामी वनितां इव प्रियाम् । मकरध्वजबाणखेदिताः प्रमदानां वशगास्तदा नराः ॥ २४-३२ ॥
If on the other hand the Rohiṇī group should rise first and the Moon next after it, men will become amorous and subject to the influence of women.
english translation
anugacchati pRSTataH zazI yadi kAmI vanitAM iva priyAm । makaradhvajabANakheditAH pramadAnAM vazagAstadA narAH ॥ 24-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआग्नेय्यां दिशि चन्द्रमा यदि भवेत्तत्रौपसर्गो महान् नैरृत्यां समुपद्रुतानि निधनं सस्यानि यान्तीतिभिः । प्राजेशानिलदिक्स्थिते हिमकरे सस्यस्य मध्यश्चयो याते स्थाणुदिशं गुणाः सुबहवः सस्यार्घ वृष्ट्यादयः ॥ २४-३३ ॥
If on the night of the Yoga day the Moon at rising should be found to the south-east of the group, mankind will suffer miseries; if she should be found to the south-west of the group, crops will suffer injuries in various ways; if on the west and north-west the growth of the crops will be moderate; and if in the north-east the crops will thrive.

AgneyyAM dizi candramA yadi bhavettatraupasargo mahAn nairRtyAM samupadrutAni nidhanaM sasyAni yAntItibhiH । prAjezAniladiksthite himakare sasyasya madhyazcayo yAte sthANudizaM guNAH subahavaH sasyArgha vRSTyAdayaH ॥ 24-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptताडयेद्यदि च योगतारकां आवृणोति वपुषा यदापि वा । ताडने भयं उशन्ति दारुणं छादने नृपबधो अङ्गनाकृतः ॥ २४-३४ ॥
If on the Yoga day, the Moon should pass in contact with the Yogatārā (junction star) of the group, mankind will be tormented with various fears; if the Yogatārā should be eclipsed by the Moon, the reigning sovereign will be assassinated by a woman.

tADayedyadi ca yogatArakAM AvRNoti vapuSA yadApi vA । tADane bhayaM uzanti dAruNaM chAdane nRpabadho aGganAkRtaH ॥ 24-34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगोप्रवेशसमये अग्रतो वृषो याति कृष्णपशुरेव वा पुरः । भूरि वारि शबले तु मध्यमं नो सिते अम्बुपरिकल्पनापरैः ॥ २४-३५ ॥
If, towards nightfall, on the Rohiṇī Yoga day, when cattle, led out in the morning, re-enter the town, the first animal so entering should be either an ox or a goat of white colour, there will be no rain; if it should be an animal black-white in colour there will be moderate rain; if in the last case the black colour should predominate, the rainfall will be abundant. If the animal that enters first should be of any other colour, there will be slight rain.
