फाल्गुनमासे रूक्षश्चण्डः पवनो अभ्रसम्प्लवाः स्निग्धाः । परिवेषाश्चासकलाः कपिलस्ताम्रो रविश्च शुभः ॥ २१-२१ ॥
In the month of Phālguna, the wind is dry and fierce, while masses of clouds are glossy and abundant; halos appear complete, and the Sun, tawny and copper-hued, is auspicious.

phAlgunamAse rUkSazcaNDaH pavano abhrasamplavAH snigdhAH । pariveSAzcAsakalAH kapilastAmro ravizca zubhaH ॥ 21-21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपवनघनवृष्टियुक्ताश्चैत्रे गर्भाः शुभाः सपरिवेषाः । घनपवनसलिलविद्युत्स्तनितैश्च हिताय वैशाखे ॥ २१-२२ ॥
In the month of Chaitra, the clouds are auspicious, accompanied by wind and rain and marked by halos; and in Vaiśākha, dense clouds, winds, rainwater, lightning, and thunder occur for the benefit (of the land).

pavanaghanavRSTiyuktAzcaitre garbhAH zubhAH sapariveSAH । ghanapavanasalilavidyutstanitaizca hitAya vaizAkhe ॥ 21-22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमुक्तारजतनिकाशास्तमालनीलोत्पलाञ्जनऽभासः । जलचरसत्त्वाकारा ग्रभेषु घनाः प्रभूतजलाः ॥ २१-२३ ॥
If the pregnant clouds should be of the colour of pearls or silver or of the colour of the bark of the Tamāla tree or of the blue lotus or of collyrium, they will yield abundance of rain.

muktArajatanikAzAstamAlanIlotpalAJjana'bhAsaH । jalacarasattvAkArA grabheSu ghanAH prabhUtajalAH ॥ 21-23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतीव्रदिवाकरकिरणाभितापिता मन्दमारुता जलदाः । रुषिता इव धाराभिर्विसृजन्त्यम्भः प्रसवकाले ॥ २१-२४ ॥
If the pregnant clouds should be exposed to the hot rays of the Sun, if they should be accompanied by gentle winds and appear as if covered by drops of rain, they will yield abundance of rain.

tIvradivAkarakiraNAbhitApitA mandamArutA jaladAH । ruSitA iva dhArAbhirvisRjantyambhaH prasavakAle ॥ 21-24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगर्भौपघातलिङ्गान्युल्काअशनिपांशुपातदिग्दाहः । क्षितिकम्पखपुरकीलककेतुग्रहयुद्धनिर्घाताः ॥ २१-२५ ॥
The signs that cause injury to the embryos (clouds) are meteors, lightning, falls of dust, and burning of the quarters; earthquakes, sky-portents, pillars of light over cities, comets, planetary conflicts, and thunderous crashes.
