विपुलां अपि बुद्ध्वा छन्दोविचितिं भवति कार्यं एतावत् । श्रुतिसुखदवृत्तसंग्रहं इमं आह वराहमिहिरो अतः ॥ १०४-६४ ॥
Thus have been described the effects of the motions of the planets (graha) through the signs of the Zodiac by Varāha-Mihira in a variety of sweet metres after examining the science of prosody.
