नष्टात्मजां रविकुजौ खलु पञ्चमस्थे चन्द्रात्मजो बहुसुता गुरुभार्गवौ च । राहुर्ददाति मरणं शनिरुग्ररोगं कन्या विनाशम् अचिरात्कुरुते शशाङ्कः ॥ १०३-०५ ॥
If at the time of Marriage the 5th house from the ascendant be occupied by the Sun or Mars, there will be death of sons; if it be occupied by Jupiter. Venus or Mercury, the woman will get many sons; if by Rāhu, she will die early, if by Saturn she will be afflicted with serious diseases; and if it be occupied by the Moon she will get daughters.
