ततोऽजपादहिर्बुध्न्यः पूषा चैव प्रकीर्तिताः। नक्षत्रेशास्तु भांशेशा मेषादिचरभक्रमात्‌॥ २६॥

Ajap, Ahirbuddhnya and Pushya. These are for an odd Rāśis. Count these deities in a reverse order for an even Rāśi. The Saptavimshāńś distribution commences from Mesh and other Movable Rāśis for all the 12 Rāśis.

त्रिंशांशेशाश्च विषमे कुजर्कीज्यज्ञभार्गवाः। पंचपंचाष्टसप्ताक्षभागानां व्यत्ययात्‌ समे॥ २७॥

Trimshāńś. The Trimshāńś Lords for an odd Rāśi are Mangal, Śani, Guru, Budh and Śukr. Each of them in order rules 5, 5, 8, 7 and 5 degrees. The deities, ruling over the Trimshāńśas, are, respectively

वह्निः समीरशक्रौ च धनदो जलदस्तथा। विषमेषु क्रमाज्ज्ञेयाः समराशौ विपर्ययात्‌॥ २८॥

Agni, Vayu, Indra, Kuber and Varuna. In the case of an even Rāśi the quantum of Trimshāńś, Grah lordship and deities get reversed.

चत्वारिंशद्विभागानामधिपा विषमे क्रियात्‌। समभे तुलतो ज्ञेयाः स्वस्वाधिपसमन्विताः॥ २९॥

Khavedāńś (or Chatvarimshāńś, 1/40th part of a Rāśi). For odd Rāśis count from Mesh and for an even Rāśi from Tula in respect of Khavedāńśas (each of 45‟ of arc).

विष्णुश्चन्द्रो मरीचिश्च त्वष्टा धाता शिवो रविः। यमो यक्षश्च गन्धर्वः कालो वरुण एव च॥ ३०॥

Vishnu, Candr, Marichi, Tvasht, Dhata, Shiva, Ravi, Yama, Yaksh, Gandharv, Kaal and Varuna repeat successively, as presiding deities, in the same order for all Rāśis.
