दिशति लज्जितभाववशाद्रतिं विगतराममतिं विमतिक्षयम् । सुतगदागमनं गमनं वृथा कलिकथाभिरुचिं न रुचिं शुभे ॥ २६॥

A Grah in Lajjit will give aversion to God, loss of intelligence, loss of child, interest in evil speeches and listlessness in good things.

संक्षोभितस्यापि फलं विशेषाद्द्रिद्रजातं कुमतिं च कष्टम् । करोति वित्तक्षयमंध्रिबाधां धनाप्तिबाधामवनीशकोपात् ॥ २७॥

A Grah in Kshobhit will give acute penury, evil disposition, miseries, financial debacles, distress to feet and obstruction to income, due to royal wrath.

क्षुधितखगवशाद्वै शोकमोहादिपातः । परिजनपरितापादाधिभीत्या कृशत्वम् । कलिरपि रिपुलोकैरर्थबाधा नराणा । मखिलब्बलनिरोधो बुद्धिरोधो विषादात् ॥ २८॥

A Grah in Kshudhit will cause downfall, due to grief and passion, grief on account of relatives, physical decline, troubles from enemies, financial distress, loss of physical strength and an eclipsed mind, due to miseries.

तृषितखगभवे स्वादंगनासंगमध्ये । भवति गदविकारो दृष्टकार्याधिकारः । निजजनपरिवादादर्थहानिः कृशत्वम् । खलकृतपरितापो मानहानिः सदैव ॥ २९॥

A Grah in Trushit Avastha will cause diseases through association with females, leading over wicked deeds, loss of wealth, due to one‟s own men, physical weakness, miseries, caused by evil people and decline of honour.

शयनं चोपवेशं च नेत्रपाणिप्रकाशनम् । गमनागमनं चाऽथ सभायां वसतिं तथा ॥ ३०॥

Calculation of Shayan Adi Avasthas. Now I will tell you of the Avasthas, viz. Shayan, Upavesan, Netrapani, Prakash, Gaman, Agaman, Sabh, Agam, Bhojan, Nritya Lips, Kautuk and Nidr and the Chesthas of such Avasthas.
