आयुषो बहुधा भेदाः कथिता भवताऽधुना । कतिधा सा कदाऽनायुरमितायुः कदा भवेत् ॥ ५१॥

(Maitreya says) You have narrated various kinds of longevity computations. Please favour me by denoting subtle classes thereof and poor and long life-spans.

बालारिष्टं योगारिष्टमल्पं मध्यञ्च दीर्घकम् । दिव्यं चैवाऽमितं चैवं सप्तधायुः प्रकीर्तितम् ॥ ५२॥

(Maharishi Parashar replies) These are seven-fold, viz. Bal Risht, Yog Risht, short, medium, long, super-natural (Divya) and immortality (Amritayu).

बालारिष्टे समा अष्टौ योगारिष्टे च विंशतिः । द्वात्रिंशद् वत्ररा अल्पे चतुष्षष्टिस्तु मध्यमे ॥ ५३॥

The life-span in Bal Risht is 8 years, in Yog Risht 20 years, in short, medium and long lives, respectively, 32, 64 and 120 years.

विंशाधिकश्तं दीर्घे दिव्ये वर्षसहस्रकम् । तदूर्ध्वममितं पुण्यैरमितैराप्यते जनैः ॥ ५४॥

Super-natural life-span is 1000 years. Above this super-natural life-span of 1000 years it is Amritayu, which can be acquired only by those, who deserve it.

चन्द्रेज्यौ च कुलीरांगे ज्न्!असिअतु केन्द्रसंस्थितौ । अन्ये त्र्यायारिगाः खेटा अमितायुस्तदा भवेत् ॥ ५५॥

Limitless Longevity. Should Kark be Lagn with Guru and Candr therein, while Śukr and Budh are in Kendras and others are in Sahaj, Ari and Labh Bhava, the native will obtain limitless longevity.
