पंचशदुत्तरशतं राक्षसानां प्रकीर्तितम् । नगणां कुञ्जराणां च विंशोत्तरशतं तथा ॥ २६॥

Demon‟s full life-span is 150 years, while it is 120 for human beings

द्वात्रिंशद् घोटकानाञ्च पंचविंशत् खरोष्ट्रयोः । वृषाणां महिषाणां च चतुर्विंशतिवत्सरम् ॥ २७॥

32 for horses, 25 for donkeys and camels, 24 for oxen and buffaloes

विंशत्यायुर्मयूराणां छागादीनां च षोडश । हंसानां पंचनव च पिकानां द्वादशाब्दकाः ॥ २८॥

20 for peacocks, 16 for goats and rams. 14 for swans, 12 for cuckoo

शुनां पारावतानां च कुक्कुटानां द्वादशाब्दकाः । बुद्बुदाद्यण्डजानां च परायुः सप्तवत्सराः ॥ २९॥
