यस्माद् यावतिथे राशौ खेटात् तद्भवनं द्विज । ततस्तावतिथं राशिं खेटारूढं प्रचक्षते ॥ ६॥
Padas for Grahas. Note the position of a Grah and see how many Rāśis away is its own Rāśi with reference to its position. Count so many Rāśis from the said own Rāśi and the resultant Rāśi will become the Arudh of the Grah.
english translation
yasmAd yAvatithe rAzau kheTAt tadbhavanaM dvija । tatastAvatithaM rAziM kheTArUDhaM pracakSate ॥ 6॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptद्विनाथद्विभयोरेवं विज्ञेयं सबलावधि । विगणय्य पदं विप्र ततस्तस्य फलं वदेत् ॥ ७॥
If a Grah owns two Rāśis, or, if a Rāśi is owned by two Grahas; consider the stronger and declare effects accordingly.

dvinAthadvibhayorevaM vijJeyaM sabalAvadhi । vigaNayya padaM vipra tatastasya phalaM vadet ॥ 7॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथाऽहं पदमाश्रित्य फलं किञ्चिद् ब्रुवे द्विज । पदादेकादशे स्थाने ग्रहैर्युक्तोऽथवेक्षिते ॥ ८॥
Pad and Finance (up to Sloka 15). O Brahmin, I now tell you of some effects of Grahas, based on Pad. If the 11th from Lagn Pad is occupied.

athA'haM padamAzritya phalaM kiJcid bruve dvija । padAdekAdaze sthAne grahairyukto'thavekSite ॥ 8॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptधनवान् जायते बालस्तथा सुखसमन्वितः । शुभयोगात् सुमार्गेण धनाप्तिः पापतोऽन्तथा ॥ ९॥
or receives a Drishti from a Grah the native will be happy and rich; wealth will come through various means, if a benefic is related, as above.
english translation
dhanavAn jAyate bAlastathA sukhasamanvitaH । zubhayogAt sumArgeNa dhanAptiH pApato'ntathA ॥ 9॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमिश्रैर्मिश्रं फलं ज्ञेयं स्वोच्चमित्रादिगेहगैः । बहुधा जायते लाभो बहुधा च सुखागमः ॥ १०॥
A malefic will confer wealth through questionable means. If there be both a benefic and a malefic, it will be through both means.
english translation
mizrairmizraM phalaM jJeyaM svoccamitrAdigehagaiH । bahudhA jAyate lAbho bahudhA ca sukhAgamaH ॥ 10॥
