Whatever Yogas, or effects have been stated with respect to a Bhava, will come to pass through the strongest Grah.

गणितेषु प्रवीणो यः शब्दशास्त्रे कृतश्रमः । न्यायविद् बुद्धिमान् देशदिक्कालज्ञो जितेन्द्रियः ॥ ३९॥

Eligibility of Issue Fruitful Predictions. O Maitreya, the words of one, who has achieved skill in mathematics, one, who has put in industrious efforts in the branch of grammar, one, who has knowledge of justice, one, who is intelligent.

ऊहापोहपटुर्होरास्कन्धश्रवणसम्मतः । मैत्रेय सत्यतां यादि तस्य वाक्यं न संशयः ॥ ४०॥

one, who has knowledge of geography, space and time, one, who has conquered his senses, one, who is skilfully logical (in estimation) and one, who is favourable to Jyotish, will doubtless be truthful.
