तपस्वी व्रतचर्यासु निरतो विद्ययाऽधिकः । धर्मस्थे जायते चापे मानवो लोकविश्रुतः ॥ ४६॥

If Chap is in Dharm Bhava, the native will perform penance, will take to religious observations, be highly learned and be famous among men.

tapasvI vratacaryAsu nirato vidyayA'dhikaH । dharmasthe jAyate cApe mAnavo lokavizrutaH ॥ 46॥

बहुपुत्रधनैश्वर्यो गोमहिष्यादिमान् भवेत् । कर्मभे चापसंयुक्ते जायते लोकविश्रुतः ॥ ४७॥

If Chap is in Karm Bhava, the native will be endowed with many sons, abundant wealth, cows, buffaloes etc. and will be famous among men.

bahuputradhanaizvaryo gomahiSyAdimAn bhavet । karmabhe cApasaMyukte jAyate lokavizrutaH ॥ 47॥

लाभगे चपखेटे च लाभयुक्तो भवेन्नरः । निरोगो दृढकोपाग्निर्मन्त्रस्त्रीपरमास्त्रवित् ॥ ४८॥

If Chap is in Labh Bhava, the native will gain many treasures, will be free from diseases, very fiery in disposition, affectionate to his wife and will have knowledge of Mantras and weapons.

lAbhage capakheTe ca lAbhayukto bhavennaraH । nirogo dRDhakopAgnirmantrastrIparamAstravit ॥ 48॥

खलोऽतिमानी दुर्बुद्धिर्निर्लज्जो व्ययसंस्थिते । चापे परस्त्रीसंयुक्तो जायते निर्धनः सदा ॥ ४९॥

If Chap is in Vyaya Bhava, the native will be wicked, very honourable, evil in disposition, shameless, will go to other‟s females and be ever poor.

khalo'timAnI durbuddhirnirlajjo vyayasaMsthite । cApe parastrIsaMyukto jAyate nirdhanaH sadA ॥ 49॥

कुशलः सर्वविद्यासु सुखी वाङ्निपुनः प्रियः । तनौ शिखिनि सञ्जातः सर्वकामान्वितो भवेत् ॥ ५०॥

Effects of Dhwaj (Sikhi, or UpaKetu) in Various Bhavas. If Dhwaj is in Tanu Bhava, the native will be skilful in all branches of learning, be happy, efficient in speech, agreeable and be very affectionate.

kuzalaH sarvavidyAsu sukhI vAGnipunaH priyaH । tanau zikhini saJjAtaH sarvakAmAnvito bhavet ॥ 50॥
