कर्मस्थानगते मन्दे नीचखेचरसंयुते । कर्मांशे पापसंयुक्ते कर्महीनो भवेन्नरः ॥ १६॥
If Śani is in Karm Bhava along with a debilitated Grah, while Karm Bhava in the Navāńś Kundali is occupied by a malefic, the native will be bereft of acts.
english translation
karmasthAnagate mande nIcakhecarasaMyute । karmAMze pApasaMyukte karmahIno bhavennaraH ॥ 16॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकर्मेशे नाशराशिस्थे रन्ध्रेशे कर्मसंस्थिते । पापग्रहेण संयुक्ते दुष्कर्म निरतो भवेत् ॥ १७॥
One will indulge in bad acts, if Karm‟s Lord is in Randhr Bhava, while Randhr‟s Lord is in Karm Bhava with a malefic.
english translation
karmeze nAzarAzisthe randhreze karmasaMsthite । pApagraheNa saMyukte duSkarma nirato bhavet ॥ 17॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकर्मेशे नीचराशिस्थे कर्मस्थे पापखेचरे । कर्मभात्कर्मगे पापे कर्मवैकल्यमादिशेत् ॥ १८॥
Obstructions to the native‟s acts will crop up, if Karm‟s Lord is in fall, as both Karm Bhava and the 10th from Karm Bhava have malefic occupations.

karmeze nIcarAzisthe karmasthe pApakhecare । karmabhAtkarmage pApe karmavaikalyamAdizet ॥ 18॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकर्मस्थानगते चन्द्रे तदीशे तत्त्रिकोणगे । लग्नेशे केन्द्रभावस्थे सत्कीर्तिसहितो भवेत् ॥ १९॥
Combinations for Fame. One will be endowed with fame, if Candr is in Karm Bhava, while Karm‟s Lord is in a trine from Karm Bhava and Lagn‟s Lord is in Lagn‟s angle.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptलाभेशे कर्मभावस्थे कर्मेशे बलसंयुक्ते । देवेन्द्रगुरुणा दृष्टे सत्कीर्तिसहितो भवेत् ॥ २०॥
Similar effects will come to pass, if Labh‟s Lord is in Karm Bhava, while Karm‟s Lord is strong and gives a Drishti to Guru.
