अथ भाग्यभावं विप्र फलं वक्ष्ये तवाऽग्रतः । सबलो भाग्यपे भाग्ये जातो भाग्ययुतो भवेत् ॥ १॥
Combinations for Fortunes. O Brahmin, now listen to the effects of Dharm Bhava. One will be fortunate (or affluent), if Dharm‟s Lord is in Dharm Bhava with strength.
english translation
atha bhAgyabhAvaM vipra phalaM vakSye tavA'grataH । sabalo bhAgyape bhAgye jAto bhAgyayuto bhavet ॥ 1॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभाग्यस्थानगते जीवे यदीशे केन्द्रसंस्थिते । लग्नेशे बलसंयुक्ते बहुभाग्ययुतो भवेत् ॥ २॥
Should Guru be in Dharm Bhava, while Dharm‟s Lord is in an angle and Lagn‟s Lord is endowed with strength, one will be extremely fortunate.
english translation
bhAgyasthAnagate jIve yadIze kendrasaMsthite । lagneze balasaMyukte bahubhAgyayuto bhavet ॥ 2॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभाग्येशे बलसंयुक्ते भाग्ये भृगुसमन्विते । लग्नात् केन्द्रगते जीवे पिता भाग्यसमन्वितः ॥ ३॥
Fortunate (Affluent) Father. If Dharm‟s Lord is with strength, as Śukr is in Dharm, while Guru is in an angle from Tanu Bhava, the native‟s father is fortunate.

bhAgyeze balasaMyukte bhAgye bhRgusamanvite । lagnAt kendragate jIve pitA bhAgyasamanvitaH ॥ 3॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभाग्यस्थानाद् द्वितीये वा सुखे भौमसमन्विते । भाग्येशे नीचराशिस्थे पिता निर्धन एव हि ॥ ४॥
Indigent Father. If Dharm‟s Lord is debilitated, while the 2nd and/or the 4th from Dharm Bhava is occupied by Mangal, the native‟s father is poor.

bhAgyasthAnAd dvitIye vA sukhe bhaumasamanvite । bhAgyeze nIcarAzisthe pitA nirdhana eva hi ॥ 4॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभाग्येशे परमोच्चस्थे भाग्यांशे जीवसंयुते । लग्नाच्चतुष्टये शुक्रे तत्पिता दीर्घजीवनः ॥ ५॥
Long-living Father. Should Dharm‟s Lord be in deep exaltation, while Śukr is in an angle from Tanu Bhava and Guru is in the 9th from Navāńś Lagn, the father of the native will enjoy a long span of life.

bhAgyeze paramoccasthe bhAgyAMze jIvasaMyute । lagnAccatuSTaye zukre tatpitA dIrghajIvanaH ॥ 5॥
