इदं ते कथितं विप्र सर्वं यस्मिन् भवेदिति। भूतान्यपि भविष्यन्ति तत्तज्जातन्ति तद्विदः॥ ११॥
And at the time of Great Destruction the Grahas as well merge in Lord Vishnu. The one, who knows of all these, will become versed in the knowledge of the past, present and future.
english translation
idaM te kathitaM vipra sarvaM yasmin bhavediti। bhUtAnyapi bhaviSyanti tattajjAtanti tadvidaH॥ 11॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविना तज्ज्यैतिषं नान्यो ज्ञातुं शक्नोति कर्हिचित्। तत्मादवश्यमध्येयं ब्राह्मणेश्च विशेषतः॥ १२॥
Without a knowledge of Jyotish these cannot be known. Hence, everyone should have a knowledge of Jyotish, particularly the Brahmin.
english translation
vinA tajjyaitiSaM nAnyo jJAtuM zaknoti karhicit। tatmAdavazyamadhyeyaM brAhmaNezca vizeSataH॥ 12॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयो नरः शास्त्रमज्ञात्वा ज्यौतिषं खलु निन्दति। रौरवं नरकं भुक्त्वा चान्धत्वं चान्यजन्मनि॥ १३॥
The one, who, devoid of knowledge of Jyotish, blames this Vedic Science will go to the hell called „Raurava‟ and will be reborn blind.
english translation
yo naraH zAstramajJAtvA jyautiSaM khalu nindati। rauravaM narakaM bhuktvA cAndhatvaM cAnyajanmani॥ 13॥
