एकग्रहस्य सदृशे फलयोर्विरोधे नाशं वदेद्यधिकं परिपच्यते तत् ॥ नान्यो ग्रह: सदृशमन्यफलं हिनस्ति स्वां स्वां दशामुपगता: स्वफलप्रदा: स्यु: ॥ ८-२३ ॥
When two results are equal in opposition of the same planet, one should infer the elimination (of both results). That which is superior, that is brought to maturity. Another similar planet does not destroy the result of the other. Those (results) are experienced in each own’s dasha.
