शशिन्यरिविनाशगे निधनमाशु पापेक्षिते शुभैरथ समाष्टकं दलमतश्व मिश्रै: स्थिति: ॥ असद्भिरवलोकिते बलिभिरत्र मासं शुभे कलत्रसहिते च पापविजिते विलग्नाधिपे ॥ ६-६ ॥
When the Moon is situated in the 6th or 8th house aspected by a malefic, there is quick death. With benefics, ॥ death॥ is in eight years. And from this, abiding with them mixed, half. Here when a benefic is aspected by malefics with power or when the ruler of the lagna is defeated by a malefic when united in the 7th house, ॥ death॥ is in one month.

zazinyarivinAzage nidhanamAzu pApekSite zubhairatha samASTakaM dalamatazva mizrai: sthiti: ॥ asadbhiravalokite balibhiratra mAsaM zubhe kalatrasahite ca pApavijite vilagnAdhipe ॥ 6-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptलग्ने क्षीणे शशिनि निधनं रन्ध्रकेन्द्रे षु पापै: पापान्त:स्थे निधनहिबुकद्यूनयुक्ते च चन्द्रे । एवं लग्ने भवति मदनछिद्रसंस्थैश्च पापै--- र्मात्रा सार्धं यदि च न शुभैर्वीक्षित: शाक्तिभृद्भि: ॥ ६-७ ॥
When the waning Moon is in the lagna with the malefics in the 8th house and angles, there is death (of the offspring). And when the Moon is situated in the 8th, 4th, and 7th houses in-between the malefics, ॥ there is death of the offspring॥. In the same manner, ॥ when the Moon॥ is in the lagna ॥ in-between malefics॥ with malefics in the 7th and 8th houses and if not aspected by the benefics with power, ॥ there is death of the offspring॥ along with the mother.

lagne kSINe zazini nidhanaM randhrakendre Su pApai: pApAnta:sthe nidhanahibukadyUnayukte ca candre । evaM lagne bhavati madanachidrasaMsthaizca pApai--- rmAtrA sArdhaM yadi ca na zubhairvIkSita: zAktibhRdbhi: ॥ 6-7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptराश्यन्तगे सद्भिरवीक्ष्यमाणे चन्द्रे त्रिकोणोपगतैश्च पापै: ॥ प्राणै: प्रयात्याशु शिशुर्वियोगमस्ते च पापैस्तुहिनांशुलग्ने ॥ ६-८ ॥
Moon located in the last navamsha of any sign unaspected by any benefic planet and with the kona houses (5th and 9th) o:c~pied by malefics, causes very early death of the child. Similar is the death if Moon in the lagna is aspected by malefic planets.

If Moon and Rahu occupy the lagna with Saturn and Mars occupying the 8th house, the mother and the child die soon. ln case the said Moon is with Sun also the death is caused by a weapon. If the lagna is occupied by Sun or Moon and the trinal houses (5th and 9th) and the 8th are occupied by malefics and n?ne of these is aspected by a strong benefic planet the child dies soon after birth.

If Saturn is in the 12th house, Sun in the 9th, Moon in the ~,agna a,?d M~rs in the 8th and no ne of them is aspected by a . stro.ng JupI:er, the person born dies soon after birth. (It is implied that If Jupiter aspecting these is weak, the yoga for early death remains).
