लग्ने क्षीणे शशिनि निधनं रन्ध्रकेन्द्रे षु पापै: पापान्त:स्थे निधनहिबुकद्यूनयुक्ते च चन्द्रे । एवं लग्ने भवति मदनछिद्रसंस्थैश्च पापै--- र्मात्रा सार्धं यदि च न शुभैर्वीक्षित: शाक्तिभृद्भि: ॥ ६-७ ॥
When the waning Moon is in the lagna with the malefics in the 8th house and angles, there is death (of the offspring). And when the Moon is situated in the 8th, 4th, and 7th houses in-between the malefics, ॥ there is death of the offspring॥. In the same manner, ॥ when the Moon॥ is in the lagna ॥ in-between malefics॥ with malefics in the 7th and 8th houses and if not aspected by the benefics with power, ॥ there is death of the offspring॥ along with the mother.
english translation
lagne kSINe zazini nidhanaM randhrakendre Su pApai: pApAnta:sthe nidhanahibukadyUnayukte ca candre । evaM lagne bhavati madanachidrasaMsthaizca pApai--- rmAtrA sArdhaM yadi ca na zubhairvIkSita: zAktibhRdbhi: ॥ 6-7 ॥
