Astanga Hrudaya
तत्पयः फलवैदेहीकल्कद्विलवणान्वितम्। ससितातैलमध्वाज्यो बस्तिर्योज्यो रसायनम्॥५०॥
Boil the mixture until the water content evaporates, leaving behind only the medicated milk, and filter it. To this liquid base, add a fine medicinal paste of phala (madana-phala) and vaidehī (Pippalī), along with the two types of salt (dvi-lavaṇa—saindhava and sauvarcala). Thoroughly blend this with sugar (sitā), sesame oil, honey, and ghee to administer as an enema. This formulation serves as a powerful rejuvenator (rasāyanam).
