युक्तो वस्तिः कफव्याधिपाण्डुरोगविषूचिषु । शुक्रानिलविबन्धेषु बस्त्याटोपे च पूजितः ॥ ३६ ॥

This therapeutic enema formulation is highly praised (pūjitaḥ) and indicated for overcoming stubborn Kapha disorders (kapha-vyādhi), anemia (pāṇḍu-roga), and gastroenteritis/cholera-like conditions (viṣūcikā). It is equally effective for relieving the obstruction of semen (śukra-vibandha), flatulence/suppression of flatus (anila-vibandha), and pain or distension in the urinary bladder region (basty-āṭope).

Take one pala (approx. 48g) each of mustā (Cyperus rotundus), pāṭhā (Cissampelos pareira), amṛtā (Guḍūcī / Tinospora cordifolia), eraṇḍa (Ricinus communis), balā (Sida cordifolia), rāsnā (Pluchea lanceolata), punarnavā (Boerhavia diffusa), mañjiṣṭhā (Rubia cordifolia), āragvadha (Cassia fistula), uśīra (Vetiveria zizanioides), trāyamāṇā (Gentiana kurroo), akṣa (Vibhītakī / Terminalia bellerica), rohiṇī (Katukī / Picrorhiza kurroa),

कनीयः पञ्चमूलं च पालिकं मदनाष्टकम् । जलाढके पचेत्तच्च पादशेषं परिस्रुतम् ॥ ३८ ॥

and the individual herbs of the kanīyas-pañcamūla (Laghu Pañcamūla). Boil these along with eight fruits of madana (madanāṣṭakam / Randia dumetorum) in one āḍhaka (approx. 3.07 liters) of water until the decoction is reduced to one-fourth (pāda-śeṣam) of its volume, and then filter it.

क्षीरद्विप्रस्थसंयुक्तं क्षीरशेषं पुनः पचेत् । सपादजाङ्गलरसः ससर्पिर्मधुसैन्धवः ॥ ३९ ॥

Combine this filtered decoction with two prastha (approx. 1.53 liters) of cow's milk and a one-fourth part (of the total volume) of wild animal meat soup (jāṅgala-rasa). Boil this combined mixture again until all the water content evaporates and only the medicated milk remains (kṣīra-śeṣam). Then, thoroughly blend it with ghee, honey, and rock salt (saindhava).

पिष्टैर्यष्टीमिशिश्यामाकलिङ्गकरसाञ्जनैः । वस्तिः सुखोष्णो मांसाग्निबलशुक्रविवर्धनः ॥ ४० ॥

Infuse this liquid with a fine medicinal paste (piṣṭaiḥ) composed of yaṣṭīmadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra), miśi (Śatāhvā / Anethum sowa), śyāmā (Trivṛt / alternative: Priyangū), kaliṅgaka (Indrayava / seeds of Holarrhena antidysenterica), and rasāñjana (extract of Berberis aristata). Administered comfortably warm (sukhoṣṇaḥ), this enema substantially increases musculature (māṃsa), kindles the digestive fire (agni), builds vital energy (bala), and increases semen production (śukra-vivardhanaḥ).
