स पञ्चतिक्तोऽभिष्यन्दकृमिकुष्ठप्रमेहहा। चत्वारस्तैलगोमूत्रदधिमण्डाम्लकाञ्जिकात्॥२४॥
This celebrated five-bitter formulation (pañcatikta) acts as an exceptional therapeutic enema that eradicates conjunctivitis/oozing eye disorders (abhiṣyanda), parasitic worms (kṛmi), skin diseases (kuṣṭha), and urinary disorders including diabetes (prameha). Recipe 4: Take a total of four prasṛta (approx. 384 ml) composed of equal parts of sesame oil, cow's urine (go-mūtra), whey or the clear watery portion of curd (dadhi-maṇḍa), and sour fermented gruel (amla-kāñjika).
