Astanga Hrudaya
अथेमान् सुकुमाराणां निरूहान् स्नेहनान् मृदून् । कर्मणा विप्लुतानां च वक्ष्यामि प्रसृतैः पृथक् ॥ २० ॥
delicate constitutions (sukumārāṇām). These formulations are also highly beneficial for patients whose health has been compromised or debilitated by excessive or improperly administered purificatory therapies (karmaṇā viplutānām). Each ingredient in these recipes is measured distinctly in units of prasṛta (1 prasṛta = approx. 96 ml or grams).
