Astanga Hrudaya
वमनं मृदुकोष्ठेन क्षुद्वताऽल्पकफेन वा । अतितीक्ष्णहिमस्तोकमजीर्णे दुर्बलेन वा ॥ १ ॥
If an emetic medicine is administered to a person who has soft bowels (mṛdu-koṣṭha), who is hungry, or who has only a slight increase of Kapha; or if the formulation itself is excessively strong (ati-tīkṣṇa), too cold (hima), or insufficient in quantity (stoka); or if it is consumed by someone suffering from indigestion (ajīrṇa) or physical debility (durbala),
