त्रिजातमर्धकर्षांशं पिप्पल्यर्धपलं सिता । द्राक्षा मधूकं खर्जूरं पलाशं श्लक्ष्णचूर्णितम् ॥ ८१ ॥
Half a karsha (6 grams) of each of the Trijataka ingredients (cinnamon bark, cardamom, and cassia leaf), half a pala (24 grams) of Piper longum, and one pala (48 grams) each of sugar candy (sita), Vitis vinifera, Glycyrrhiza glabra, and Phoenix dactylifera are powdered finely together with Butea monosperma.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptमधुना गुटिका घ्नन्ति ता वृष्याः पित्तशोणितम् । कासश्वासारुचिच्छर्दिमूर्छाहिध्मामदभ्रमान् ॥ ८२ ॥
These powders are blended with honey and rolled into pills. These pills act as a potent aphrodisiac (vrishya) and cure bleeding disorders (raktapitta), cough, dyspnea, anorexia, vomiting, fainting, hiccup, intoxication, and giddiness.

They further cure chest injuries (kshata), depletion of tissues (kshaya), hoarseness or loss of voice, diseases of the spleen, emaciation (shosha), Adhyamaruta (gout/varkta), spitting of blood (hemoptysis), pain in the heart and flanks, severe thirst, and fever.

A patient suffering from spitting of blood (hemoptysis) should consume the powder made of Boerhavia diffusa, sugar, and flour of red variety of Oryza sativa, processed with the juice of Vitis vinifera, milk, and ghee.

Alternatively, the patient may consume Amaranthus spinosus processed and boiled with milk along with Madhuca longifolia and Glycyrrhiza glabra. When there is bleeding from the respective upper or lower passages, appropriate therapeutic measures as described in the treatment of Raktapitta (bleeding disorders) should be adopted.
