Once the mixture is taken off the flame and has completely cooled down, add honey in a quantity equal to half the volume of the initially used ghee (half a Prastha / 384 ml). The entire preparation must then be thoroughly churned and blended together using a wooden ladle, and stored safely in a clean container.

Originally formulated by the divine Ashwini twins, this exceptionally pleasant, heart-nourishing elixir is celebrated across classical tradition as Kushmanda Rasayana. To begin the specialized rejuvenative therapy (Rasayana), the patient should consume a decoction or fresh paste of the roots of Sida veronicaefolia (Nagabala), starting with an initial dose, and gradually increasing it by half a Karsha (approx. 6 grams) every succeeding day.

The dosage is gradually scaled up until it reaches a maximum of one Pala (48 grams), mixed thoroughly with warm milk, and continued for a period of one month. Throughout this course, the individual must strictly sustain themselves on a milk diet (Kshiravritti) and entirely abstain from consuming solid food (Anannabhuk). This precise practice is unparalleled for promoting body nourishment, enhancing lifespan, boosting physical strength, and brightening the skin complexion.

Exactly the same method, dosage scale, and strict dietary regimen can be replicated and implemented using Centella asiatica (Mandukaparni), Glycyrrhiza glabra (Yashtimadhu), or Zingiber officinale (Vishvaushadha). To prepare the formulation known as Nagabala Ghrita, take one Tula (4.8 kg) of Sida veronicaefolia (Nagabala) and boil it in one Drona (approx. 12.28 liters) of water. The boiling should continue until the liquid is reduced to one-fourth of its original volume
