लीढं निर्वापयेत् पित्तमल्पत्वाद्धन्ति नानलम् । आक्रामत्यनिलं पीतमूष्माणं निरुणद्धि च ॥ १११ ॥

Ghee that is licked, being smaller in quantity, successfully pacifies and mitigates Pitta without diminishing or extinguishing the digestive fire (Agni). On the other hand, when ghee is drunk in larger quantities, it directly envelops and subdues Vata while checking and containing the hyper-functioning internal heat or digestive fire .

क्षामक्षीणकृशाङ्गानामेतान्येव घृतानि तु । त्वक्क्षीरीशर्करालाजचूर्णैः स्त्यानानि योजयेत् ॥ ११२ ॥

For individuals who are severely emaciated, debilitated, and have weak bodies, these very same medicated ghees mentioned previously should be allowed to solidify (congeal) and then be thoroughly blended with the fine powders of Bambusa arundinacea (vamshalochan), sugar, and parched rice (laja).

सर्पिर्गुडान्समध्वंशान्कृत्वा दद्यात्पयोऽनु च । रेतो वीर्यं बलं पुष्टिं तैराशुतरमाप्नुयात् ॥ ११३ ॥

These solid mixtures should then be rolled into sweet medicinal balls (known as Sarpirguda) along with an equal portion of honey and jaggery. This preparation should be consumed, followed by a drink of warm milk as an anupana. Through this therapy, the patient very rapidly attains a magnificent increase in semen production , physical vigor (,strength, and structural nourishment.

वीतत्वगस्थिकूष्माण्डतुलां स्विन्नां पुनः पचेत् । घट्टयन्सर्पिषः प्रस्थे क्षौद्रवर्णेऽत्र च क्षिपेत् ॥ ११४ ॥

One Tula (4.8 kg) of Benincasa hispida (Kushmanda/Ash gourd), completely cleared of its outer skin and inner seeds, is first steamed or boiled. It is then placed into a vessel along with one Prastha (768 g) of ghee and cooked, stirring continuously, until the mixture roasts down and assumes the deep, golden color of honey.

खण्डाच्छतं कणाशुण्ठ्योर्द्विपलं जीरकादपि । त्रिजातधान्यमरिचं पृथगर्धपलांशकम् ॥ ११५ ॥

To this roasted base, add one hundred Pala (4.8 kg) of clean sugar candy (Khanda), followed by two Pala (96 g) each of the fine powders of Piper longum (Kana) and Zingiber officinale (Shunthi). Next, add half a Pala (24 g) each of Cuminum cyminum (Jiraka), Trijataka (Cinnamomum zeylanicum, Elettaria cardamomum, and Cinnamomum tamala combined), Coriandrum sativum (Dhanya), and Piper nigrum (Maricha).
