मधुकाष्टपलद्राक्षाप्रस्थक्वाथे पचेद्घृतम् । पिप्पल्यष्टपले कल्के प्रस्थं सिद्धे च शीतले ॥ १०६ ॥
A decoction is prepared using eight Pala (384 grams) of Glycyrrhiza glabra and one Prastha (768 grams) of Vitis vinifera. To this decoction, a medicinal paste (Kalka) made from eight Pala (384 grams) of Piper longum is added, and one Prastha (768 grams) of ghee is cooked thoroughly with the mixture.

Once the preparation of the ghee is complete and it has thoroughly cooled down, eight Pala (384 grams) each of honey and sugar are mixed into it. It should be consumed along with an equal quantity of roasted corn flour (saktu). This formulation is highly beneficial for those who are emaciated due to chest injuries (Kshata-Kshina) and for women suffering from Raktagulma (uterine tumors, cysts, or false pregnancies).

To prepare this medicated ghee, take one Prastha (768 ml/g) each of the following ingredients: the juice of Emblica officinalis (dhatri), the juice of Pueraria tuberosa (vidari), sugarcane juice (ikshu), the decoction of herbs belonging to the Jivaniya Gana (vitalizing group), un-medicated ghee, cow's milk, and goat's milk. All these components should be cooked together thoroughly.

Once the cooking process is complete and the ghee has cooled down entirely, two Prasthas (approx. 1.5 kg) each of sugar and honey should be thoroughly mixed into it. This potent formulation effectively cures pulmonary tuberculosis (yakshma), epilepsy (apasmara), bleeding disorders (raktapitta), cough (kasa), diabetes/urinary anomalies (meha), and chronic wasting/consumption (kshaya).

Furthermore, this preparation acts as a powerful anti-aging agent (vayasthapana), promotes longevity (ayushya), and significantly increases muscle mass, semen production, and overall physical immunity. When Pitta is predominantly increased, the medicated ghee should be licked (taken in a smaller/medium dose as a confection). When Vata is predominantly increased, it should be drunk (consumed in a larger/maximum dose).
