भिक्षुक ग्राम भृतक अर्थं च राशि मूलं परिहरेयुः ॥
They should set aside a fixed amount (of produce or money) for the support of beggars, the village servants, and hired workers.
english translation
bhikSuka grAma bhRtaka arthaM ca rAzi mUlaM parihareyuH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्व सस्य अपहारिणः प्रतिपातो अष्ट गुणः ॥
For one who steals his own (previously seized or disputed) crop, the punishment is a fine of eight times the value.
english translation
sva sasya apahAriNaH pratipAto aSTa guNaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपर सस्य अपहारिणः पञ्चाशद् गुणः सीता अत्ययः, स्व वर्गस्य, बाह्यस्य तु वधः ॥
and whoever steals the crops of another person shall pay a fine of fifty times the amount, provided the robber belongs to the same community (svavarga); but if he is a foreigner, he shall be put to death.

They (the king's employees) may demand of cultivators one-fourth of their grain, and one-sixth of forest produce (vanya) and of such commodities as cotton, wax, fabrics, barks of trees, hemp, wool, silk, medicines, sandal, flowers, fruits, vegetables, firewood, bamboos, flesh, and dried flesh.
