बाल अधिष्ठितम् अपुरुषं वा यानं राजा हरेत् ॥
Carts or carriages occupied by a minor or with no person shall be taken possession of by the king.

कृत्य अभिचाराभ्यां यत् परम् आपादयेत् तद् आपादयितव्यः ॥
Whatever a man attempts to do to others by witch-craft shall be (practically) applied to the doer himself.

कामं भार्यायाम् अनिच्छन्त्यां कन्यायां वा दार अर्थिनो भर्तरि भार्याया वा संवदन करणम् ॥
Witch-craft merely to arouse love in an indifferent wife, in a maiden by her lover, or in a wife by her husband is no offence.

अन्यथा हिंसायां मध्यमः साहस दण्डः ॥
But when it is injurious to others, the doer shall be punished with the middle most amercement.

माता पित्रोर् भगिनीं मातुलानीम् आचार्याणीं स्नुषां दुहितरं भगिनीं वा अधिचरतस् त्रि लिङ्गच् छेदनं वधश् च ॥
When a man performs witch-craft to win the sister of his own father or mother, the wife of a maternal uncle or of a preceptor, his own daughter-in-law, daughter, or sister, he shall have his limb cut off and also put to death.
