बाल अधिष्ठितम् अपुरुषं वा यानं राजा हरेत् ॥
Carts or carriages occupied by a minor or with no person shall be taken possession of by the king.

bAla adhiSThitam apuruSaM vA yAnaM rAjA haret ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकृत्य अभिचाराभ्यां यत् परम् आपादयेत् तद् आपादयितव्यः ॥
Whatever a man attempts to do to others by witch-craft shall be (practically) applied to the doer himself.
english translation
kRtya abhicArAbhyAM yat param ApAdayet tad ApAdayitavyaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकामं भार्यायाम् अनिच्छन्त्यां कन्यायां वा दार अर्थिनो भर्तरि भार्याया वा संवदन करणम् ॥
Witch-craft merely to arouse love in an indifferent wife, in a maiden by her lover, or in a wife by her husband is no offence.
english translation
kAmaM bhAryAyAm anicchantyAM kanyAyAM vA dAra arthino bhartari bhAryAyA vA saMvadana karaNam ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअन्यथा हिंसायां मध्यमः साहस दण्डः ॥
But when it is injurious to others, the doer shall be punished with the middle most amercement.
english translation
anyathA hiMsAyAM madhyamaH sAhasa daNDaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमाता पित्रोर् भगिनीं मातुलानीम् आचार्याणीं स्नुषां दुहितरं भगिनीं वा अधिचरतस् त्रि लिङ्गच् छेदनं वधश् च ॥
When a man performs witch-craft to win the sister of his own father or mother, the wife of a maternal uncle or of a preceptor, his own daughter-in-law, daughter, or sister, he shall have his limb cut off and also put to death.
