विक्रमितु कामं वा मित्र व्यञ्जनः परस्य अभिशंसेत् ॥
Then another pretending friend may inform the enemy that the murdered person was a fratricide (as he attempted to seize the territory of his friend in troubles).
english translation
vikramitu kAmaM vA mitra vyaJjanaH parasya abhizaMset ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआप्त भाव उपगतः प्रवीर पुरुषानस्य उपघातयेत् ॥
After strengthening his intimacy with the enemy, the pretending friend may sow the seeds of dissension between the enemy and his officers and have the latter hanged.

Apta bhAva upagataH pravIra puruSAnasya upaghAtayet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसंधिं वा कृत्वा जन पदम् एनं निवेशयेत् ॥
Causing the peaceful people of the enemy to rebel, he may put them down, unknown to the enemy.

saMdhiM vA kRtvA jana padam enaM nivezayet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिविष्टम् अस्य जन पदम् अविज्ञातो हन्यात् ॥
Unknown to him , ॥ the pretender॥ may cause the inhabitants of his country to rebel and then destroy them.
english translation
niviSTam asya jana padam avijJAto hanyAt ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअपकारयित्वा दूष्य आटविकेषु वा बल एक देशम् अतिनीय दुर्गम् अवस्कन्देन हारयेत् ॥
Or traitors, enemies, wild tribes and other persons who have deserted the enemy, may, under the plea of having been reconciled, honoured and rewarded, go back to the enemy and allow the fort to be captured by the conqueror.
