अपकारयित्वा दूष्य आटविकेषु वा बल एक देशम् अतिनीय दुर्गम् अवस्कन्देन हारयेत् ॥

sanskrit

Or traitors, enemies, wild tribes and other persons who have deserted the enemy, may, under the plea of having been reconciled, honoured and rewarded, go back to the enemy and allow the fort to be captured by the conqueror.

english translation

apakArayitvA dUSya ATavikeSu vA bala eka dezam atinIya durgam avaskandena hArayet ॥
