तेषां स्व योनौ विवाहः, पूर्व अपर गामित्वं वृत्त अनुवृत्तं च ॥
Members of this caste shall marry among themselves. Both in customs and avocations they shall follow their ancestors.
english translation
teSAM sva yonau vivAhaH, pUrva apara gAmitvaM vRtta anuvRttaM ca ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशूद्र सधर्माणो वा, अन्यत्र चण्डालेभ्यः ॥
They may either become Súdras or embrace any other lower castes excepting Chandálas.
english translation
zUdra sadharmANo vA, anyatra caNDAlebhyaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकेवलम् एवं वर्तमानः स्वर्गम् आप्नोति राजा, नरकम् अन्यथा ॥
The king who guides his subjects in accordance with the above rules will attain to heaven; otherwise he will fall into the hell.

kevalam evaM vartamAnaH svargam Apnoti rAjA, narakam anyathA ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वेषाम् अन्तरालानां समो विभागः ॥
Offsprings of mixed castes (Antarálas) shall have equal divisions of inheritance.

sarveSAm antarAlAnAM samo vibhAgaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेशस्य जात्याः संघस्य धर्मो ग्रामस्य वा अपि यः । उचितस् तस्य तेन एव दाय धर्मं प्रकल्पयेत् ॥
Partition of inheritance shall be made in accordance with the customs prevalent in the country, caste, guild (sangha), or the village of the inheritors.

dezasya jAtyAH saMghasya dharmo grAmasya vA api yaH । ucitas tasya tena eva dAya dharmaM prakalpayet ॥
