पर गृह अतिगतायाश् चतुर् विंशति पणः ॥
If she goes out beyond the surrounding houses (parigrihátigatáyam), she shall be fined 24 panas.
english translation
para gRha atigatAyAz catur viMzati paNaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपर भार्या अवकाश दाने शत्यो दण्डः, अन्यत्र आपद्भ्यः ॥
If under any other excuse than danger, she takes into her house the wife of another man, she shall be fined 100 panas.
english translation
para bhAryA avakAza dAne zatyo daNDaH, anyatra ApadbhyaH ॥

But she will not be guilty if the entrance is effected without her knowledge or against her orders to the contrary.

hk transliteration by Sanscript"पति विप्रकारात् पति ज्ञाति सुख अवस्थ ग्रामिक अन्वाधि भिक्षुकी ज्ञाति कुलानाम् अन्यतमम् अपुरुषं गन्तुम् अदोषः" इति आचार्याः ॥
My teacher says:--With a view to avoid danger, it is no offence for women to go to any male person who is a kinsman of her husband, or is a rich and prosperous gentleman (sukhávastha), or is the head-man of the village or is one of her guardians (anvádhikula).
english translation
"pati viprakArAt pati jJAti sukha avastha grAmika anvAdhi bhikSukI jJAti kulAnAm anyatamam apuruSaM gantum adoSaH" iti AcAryAH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस पुरुषं वा ज्ञाति कुलम् ॥
or who belongs to the family of a mendicant woman, or to any one of her own kinsmen.
