मृत कल्पम् अशोणितं घ्नतो हस्त पाद पारञ्चिकं वा कुर्वतः पूर्वः साहस दण्डः, पाणि पाद दन्त भङ्गे कर्ण नास आच्छेदने व्रण विदारणे च्च, अन्यत्र दुष्ट व्रणेभ्यः ॥
Beating a person almost to death, though without causing blood, breaking the hands, legs, or teeth, tearing off the ear or the nose, or breaking open the flesh of a person except in ulcers or boils shall be punished with the first amercement.
english translation
mRta kalpam azoNitaM ghnato hasta pAda pAraJcikaM vA kurvataH pUrvaH sAhasa daNDaH, pANi pAda danta bhaGge karNa nAsa Acchedane vraNa vidAraNe cca, anyatra duSTa vraNebhyaH ॥
